1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and – where applicable – the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
SPACEPLANET
Simon Wernli
Dorfstrasse 64
8835 Feusisberg, Switzerland
Email: contact@spaceplanet-official.com

2. Principles of data processing

We always process personal data lawfully, in good faith and in a proportionate manner. We collect data exclusively for the purposes stated in this policy and retain it only for as long as is necessary for these purposes or required by law.

3. Data collected when visiting the website (server log files)

When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits data to our web server for technical reasons. This data is temporarily stored in so-called server log files:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of access (incl. time zone)
  • Name and URL of the file retrieved
  • HTTP status code and amount of data transferred
  • Browser and operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited website)

Purpose & legal basis: This data is technically necessary to deliver the website in a stable and error-free manner, to fend off attacks and to ensure system security (legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 31 FADP respectively). This data is not combined with other data sources.

4. Contact and booking form

If you send us enquiries via our contact or booking form or directly by email, the details you provide (name, email address, phone number, event date, location and your message) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and any follow-up questions.

Confirmation copy: For transparency, an email confirmation containing the content of your enquiry is automatically sent to the email address you provided. Transmission takes place via secure SSL/TLS connections.

Spam protection: To protect our forms against automated abuse, we use server-side mechanisms such as honeypot fields, timestamp and content checks, as well as the service «Cloudflare Turnstile» (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When the form is submitted, Turnstile automatically checks whether a request originates from a human. In the process, technical information such as the IP address and browser characteristics is transmitted to Cloudflare; no advertising or tracking profiles are created. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protection against spam and abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 31 FADP respectively).

5. No tracking or marketing cookies

Our website deliberately refrains from using invasive advertising, retargeting or marketing cookies (no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels from Meta/Facebook). Only technically necessary session cookies or local browser storage (e.g. localStorage for language settings) are used.

6. Protected audio streaming gateway

To play music samples and audio previews from our discography, we use our secure streaming gateway (/api/stream.php). It verifies the authorisation of each request on the basis of the page referrer in order to protect against unauthorised mass downloading. No personal user profile of listening behaviour is created.

7. Embedded YouTube videos

To present music videos, we use embedded content from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you play a video, your browser establishes a connection to YouTube's servers. If you are logged in to your YouTube/Google account, Google may associate the visit with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out beforehand.

8. Local fonts (web fonts)

For a consistent display, this website uses the «Inter» typeface. The font files are delivered directly from our own server. No connection is made to the servers of Google or other third-party providers, and no data is transmitted for this purpose.

9. Your rights

Within the scope of the applicable data protection law, you have the following rights at any time:

  • Information, free of charge, about the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure of your personal data, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this
  • Restriction of the processing of your data
  • Withdrawal of any consent given, with effect for the future
  • Lodging a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Switzerland: the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC)

For enquiries regarding your rights, please contact: contact@spaceplanet-official.com.
